Johnny Lee Allen, 71, of Glen Cove died at his home on June 19, 2022.

He was the 3rd generation Allen to reside on the family farm.

He was born April 16, 1951 in Coleman, Tx to parents Floyd and Martha Louise (Keese) Allen.

He was raised in Winters, Texas where he graduated from Winters High School in 1970.

He was retired after 26 years of service from the U.S. Army having served in the U.S. and Germany as a communications chief and qualified drill SGT.

While serving in Germany, he married Patricia Dunn of England.

Following his military career he bought the family farm near Glen Cove. He farmed and ranched until his death. He also represented farm and ranch property as a real estate agent.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Pat, and a brother-in-law Darr Huckaby.

He is survived by his sons David, Johnny Lee, Nick and by sisters Doris Foster (Bob), Joyce Taylor (Mike), and Selinda Meadows (Alan).

He is survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Also survived by his special friend Karen Vanpelt.

In addition he leaves many friends.

Johnny was cremated and will be buried at Glen Cove Cemetery at a later date.
