Benny Andrew Babin, sixty-four years of age, passed away on January 18, 2008 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Carville and a resident of Gonzales. He was a data systems analyst for PCS Nitrogen and a United States Army veteran. He was a member of Saint Mark Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of forty years, Brenda Babin Babin; a daughter, Amy (Ben) Efting; son, John Babin; mother-in-law, Mazy B Geismar; three sisters, Jacqueline Berthelot, Beverly (Larry) Forschler, and Tammy (Bentley) Mouton;and three brothers, Dickie (Judy) Babin, Brian Babin, and Carl (Marsha) Babin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome Andrew and Clara Belle Young Babin; a brother, Ronald Paul Babin; and a sister-in-law, Sylvia Wilson.
