Linda Ann Hunt Brown, daughter of Paul Henry and Edith Ray Breckenridge Larkin, was born September 25, 1960 in Stella, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, January 17, 2008 in her home in Fordland, Missouri at the age of forty-seven years, three months, and twenty-two days.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Linda is survived by her mother Edith Larkin, of the home; her companion, Jeff Brown, of the home; her children, Jeffrey Brown Jr., of Guntersville, Alabama, Joshua Blatchford and his wife Amy, of Dothan, Alabama, LaShay Booth and her husband Ray, of Fordland, Missouri and Cyndi McAuliffe and her husband Richard, of State of Kansas; four grandchildren; three sisters, Diane Pierce, of Seymour, Missouri, Karen Augustine, of Rogersville, Missouri and Paula Bailey and her husband Rick, of Bentonville, Arkansas; one brother, Randy Larkin and his wife Cathy, of Farmington, Arkansas; a half-sister Paulette Oehlert and her husband Jerry, of Bentonville, Arkansas; her step-brothers and step-sisters, Ray, Eddie, Ruth and Sue all of Disney, Oklahoma; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Linda was born in Stella, Missouri and had also lived in Alabama for fourteen years before moving to the Fordland area. She was a devoted homemaker who loved her family and was also a good friend who was always there to lend a hand.
In her spare time, Linda enjoyed scrap booking, working on various crafts, cooking for her family, reading, talking with friends, and playing with her dog "Buddy."
Linda was a loving daughter, companion, mother, grandmother, and sister, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2008, in the Holman-Howe Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in the Seymour Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 - 3:00 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour, Missouri.
