Kenneth "Kenny" Ziegler, (8/1/1926), passed away peacefully on June 18th, 2022. Kenny was a devoted father, grandfather, husband, and lifelong member of Warwick River Mennonite Church. Kenny will be remembered for his kindness, hardworking mentality and wry sense of humor. He shared his strong faith in God throughout his life by living simply and compassionately welcoming everyone.

During the development of Newport News, Kenny recognized the need for plumbing and started Ziegler Plumbing and Sewer, Inc. and has since passed it on to his children and grandchildren. He loved having coffee, especially after lunch on Sundays to chit-chat and catch-up with his family, which would end with a hug and an earnest, "be good." He had many stories to share of his time working at Yoder Dairy and Colony Farms delivering milk, farming his peach orchard, and working with his brothers-in-law at Nice Brothers, Inc. on the Peninsula.

He is now reunited in heaven with his parents, Will and Mattie Ziegler; siblings, Ralph Ziegler and Esther Fisher; his daughter Susan "Susie" Ziegler; and granddaughter Pamela Saunders.

We are grateful to have loved and learned from Kenny and will greatly miss him. We invite everyone to celebrate his life at Warwick River Mennonite Church cemetery at 10 a.m. this Saturday, June 25th, 2022. The Zieglers want to thank friends, family and the community for their support during this time.
