Floyd Leonard Allsep, 79, husband of Nellie Honea Allsep, of 230 Ridgewood Drive, West Union, SC. died Monday, June 11, 2007 at his residence. A native of Seneca, SC, Mr. Allsep was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Ella Mae Parker Allsep. He retired from Duke Power and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Salem, SC. Mr. Allsep was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and a member of Masonic Lodge # 185 in Seneca. In addition to his wife, Mr. Allsep is survived by a son Floyd Randy Allsep and wife, Marilyn of West Union, SC; daughter Cathy Allsep Williams and husband Randy of Salem, SC, Brothers, Tommy Allsep of Seneca, Carl Allsep of Norris, SC, Douglas Allsep Byron of GA, Sister, Vera McDonald of Seneca, SC; Grandchildrem. Candy Allsep Baka and husband Steve, and Amy Allsep Raines and husband Rodney; Great Grandchildren, Aila Raines, Avery Raines and Brady Baka. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thuraday, June 14, 2007, from the Chapel of Davenport Funeral Home, Walhalla, SC, with burial to follow in Oconee Memorial Park, Seneca. The body is at Davenport Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2007, prior to the service.
