Mrs. Bivens died Monday, Sept. 16, 1996, at her home.
She was born March 13, 1934, in St. Louis, the daughter of August and Louise Kuchenmeister Brauns.
Mrs. Bivens was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, a homemaker and an avid bowler.
She married Richard C. Bivens on Aug. 29, 1954, in St. Louis. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Wendy Kay Hartwick, Wamego; two sons, Richard Dana Bivens, Tiffany Springs, Mo., and Jeffrey Allen Bivens, Lawrence; a sister, Patsy Hohman, Concord Village, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the mortuary, where the family will greet relatives and friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.
