She was born Thursday, April 11, 1935, the daughter of the late Willis Abbott and Hettie Abbott. She was the wife of the late Jack Murphy.
Surviving are Three Sons, Reggie Murphy- (Nelda) of Lewisburg, Gary Murphy- (Patricia) of Manitou, KY, and Roger Murphy- (Jennifer) of Booneville, IN. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery.
