NESTLERODE.--Frank Nestlerode, veteran Beater Room employee, at Castanea Mills, died suddenly as a result of a heart attack at his home, 522 Penn Street, Sunday evening, a few minutes before nine. He was 69 years old at the time of his death. His death was unexpected by his many friends, for he had not been ill and had worked regularly last week. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from his home in charge of Rev. Howard F. Pierce, pastor of the Baptist Church. Interment was in Morningside Cemetery, DuBois. Born December 26, 1873, at Eagleville, Centre County, Pennsylvania, he was a Johnsonburg resident for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, a son, Pvt. Marcellus Nestlerode, of Camp Lee, Virginia; three daughters, Mrs. G. B. Cornell of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, Mrs George Diffenbaugh of Washington, and Mrs. Harold Olson of Johnsonburg; also three brothers and three sisters. Among those here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. George Diffenbaugh, Washington, D.C., and Pvt. Marcellus Nestlerode, Camp Lee, Virginia.
