Emma was the third of four children born to Lafayette M. A. 'Fate' and Mary E. (Moose) Poole. She had three children: Betty Jean Poole, Daniel Lee Poole and Louise Virginia Poole. She married (1) Lee Trexler. She later married Ervin Bean.

SALISBURY - Mrs. Emma Poole Bean, 68, of 1205 N. Long St. died Wednesday at her home.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Victory Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in City Memorial Park.
A native of Rowan County, she was an employee of Amoco Fabrics and Fiber Co.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Betty Beck of Lexington, Mrs. Louise Parrish of Mocksville, Mrs. Frances Trexler of Salisbury; sister, Mrs. Mary Talley of Rockwell; nine grandchildren.
The family will be at Summersett Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today.
