ABEL, Eva Alice, of 1538 Norvell Street, El Cerrito, in Martinez, September 13, 1963, loving wife of the late Halvor C. Abel; dearly beloved mother of Gertrude Miller and Marjorie C. Eichner, both of Lafayette, Albert Able of Portland, Oregon, Harry C. Abel of El Cerrito, Eugene C. Abel of Concord and Charles E. Abel of Pinole; loving sister of Albert and Eugene Glancy, both Crockett; also survived by 17 grandchildren. A native of Sacramento; aged 83 years. A member of St. John the Baptist Church of Er Cerrito, Berkeley institute Number 58 Y. L. Legion Mary, and the Arch Confraternity of St. Columbia Catholic Church.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services, Tuesday, September 17, at 8:30 a.m. from the Drawing Room Chapel of Ellis Olson Mortuary, 727 San Pablo Avenue, Albany; thence to the St: John the Baptist Catholic Church, 11150 San Pablo Avenue, El Cerrito where a Requiem Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul commencing at 9 a.m. Recitation of the Rosary, Monday evening at 8 p.m. Committal services, St. Joseph Cemetery. (Our parking plaza adjoins the mortuary.) Officers and members of Berkeley institute Number 58 Y.L.I will join in the Rosary and the Ritual of the Dead, Monday evening at 8 p.m. Their attendance is requested at the Mass, signed Doris Ditmer, president, Mary Ellen Smith, secretary.
