Wallace came to Kansas to join his father and Uncle Solomon in abt 1890. He rode the train from Danville, Ohio to Saratoga, Kansas then walked several miles south to the farm located south of the Kansas Fish Hatchery in Pratt County. The original farm is still in the family. Wallace was married to Della Mae Bloxom and they had two children raised on the farm. They were Inez (Dikeman) Banbury and Florence (Helsel) Banbury.
