Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, January 15, at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Fannie Neal, 77, wife of the late Ollie Neal.
Mrs. Neal died Monday at her home on Ervin Street following a three week illness. Rev. L. W. Hart, pastor of the Baptist church, conducted the last rites at the church. Interment followed in the City Cemetery, McConnell-Service directing.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. R. F. Blackburn, Old Hickory, Tenn., Mrs. Lodie Ervin, Liberty, Tenn., Mrs. Donnie Cubbins, Lebanon, Tenn., Mrs. B. M. Foster, Mrs. J. M. Smith, Mrs. C. A. Lyles, Athens; one son, Drue Neal, Athens; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Patterson; three brothers, Matt, Zollie, and Foshen Dewitt; and 25 grandchildren.
