Anne Marie Teese, 63, of Atlantic Beach, NY, passed away on June 5th, 2020 at her home. She was born July 15, 1956 in Queens, NY to Barbara and the late Howard "Bud" Teese.
She moved with her parents and three siblings from Hollis, Queens to Commack, Long Island in 1964.
Anne graduated from Commack High School North in 1974 and received her Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Brockport in 1978. She worked for Equitable Insurance — later AXA Equitable — for more than three decades, retiring in 2016.
A multi-sport athlete in high school, Anne remained an avid sports fan, an active swimmer, and a lifelong lover of the beach. She enjoyed the wind, the waves, the sunshine, and the calmness that surrounded her on the sand.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, June 15, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Moloney's Hauppauge Funeral Home, 840 Wheeler Road (Route 111), Hauppauge, NY 11788.
In lieu of flowers, friends may honor Anne with donations in her name to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or Atlantic Beach Cats, Inc. (PO Box 189, Atlantic Beach, NY 11509).
