Mabel Elvira DeCastro, 86, of Orange passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Visiting will be held on Monday, June 6th, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. With the Funeral Services at 12:30 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.

Mabel was born in Orange, and grew up in West Orange before returning back to Orange many years later. Mabel dedicated 12 years of her life working as an aide at Daughters of Israel in West Orange. Prior to that she worked at Nevins Church Press in Clifton for 20 years , and McDougal Inc. in Roseland for many years.

Mabel was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Malvine DeCastro. She was also the cherished sister to Robert DeCastro, Malvine Cedola, the late June Moretti, and Shirley Antonakos. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews as well as her cousin, Karen Ayotte Weber.
