Princeville, IL - Cindy Sue Brone, age 69, of Princeville passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Osf St. Francis Medical center in Peoria.

Cindy was born June 18, 1953 in Peoria, to Roy and Elizabeth (Edwards) Scherler. She married Joseph Brone on June 2, 1972. He survives.

Also surviving are their two children, Sean (Renee) Brone of Toulon, IL and Tami Frazelle of Mossville; five grandchildren, Austin, Trinity, Trista, Alyssa, and Jordyn; two great-grandchildren on the way; two siblings, Rob Scherler of Brimfield and Jody (Roger) Wilkerson of Washington, a sister-in-law, Edna (Steve) Shurter of Dunlap; a cousin, John (Nita) Edwards of Raleigh, N.C.; and numerous bonus kids who were a part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several cousins.

Cindy worked through the Teamsters Union for several area business and the Illinois Department of Transportation. She attended Mt. Olive Missionary Church in Peoria and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as taking care of others.

Cremation will be accorded.
