Audrey Kathleen Hodge, 77, died May 24, 2003 at Providence Continuing Care-St. Vincent de Paul Hospital after a one year illness.
She was born April 28, 1926, in Brockville, the daughter of Albertus James Nowlan and the former Lula Mae Moore. On November 10, 1946, she married Gordon David Hodge in Brockville.
A housewife and mother of six sons, she lived in the Mallorytown and Long Beach area for 50 years. She had recently moved to Brockville. Her special interests were playing euchre and baking.
Mrs. Hodge is survived by her sons, David and wife Adsa, James, Kenneth and wife Elaine and Norman and wife Joan, all of Brockville and Raymond and wife Donna and Ralph and wife Loreen, all of Athens. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by three brothers, Lorne Nowlan and wife Joan and Robert Nowlan and wife Susan, all of Brockville, and Ronald Nowlan and wife Mae, of Frankville, and two sisters, Orva Mallette and husband Beau of Brockville and Una Morrow and husband Gareth of Lansdowne, and many nieces and nephews.
Also surviving are her sisters-in-law Jean Nowlan and Marie Nowlan.
She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Hodge, sister Betty Lou and four brothers, Jim, Forrest, Gerald and Cecil Nowlan.
