Ralph David "Cookie" Bricker, 79, of Louisville left this earth Monday morning to meet his heavenly father after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family. He spent every morning in The Word seeking Christ and preparing to share whenever he could. It was important for Cookie to help others understand the peace in giving your life to Christ. Cookie retired after over 33 years as a driver for Praxair, having achieved over 1,000,000 accident-free miles. He was an avid golfer and shot his best round of 66, at the age of 66. His sense of fashion was evident on the course thanks to Dot's invention of "Bricker's Knickers".

Born, January 6, 1943 to the late William O and Edna Bricker, he leaves behind his prized trophies; wife of 59 years Dorothy "Dot" DuPlain Bricker, daughter and son-in-law Nadine and Mark Cuenot, Son and daughter-in-law Brian and Debbie Bricker, son Jason (Taryn) Bricker. He was extremely proud of his grandchildren, Rachel, Lauren, Jacob, Joshua and Kristen. He leaves behind many friends, relatives, and countless unknown souls he touched. To know Cookie was to know love.

Funeral services will be 11am Friday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Fr. Tom Bishop officiating. Calling hours will be 10-11am Friday morning at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Care Center in Louisville.
