Ruth M. Williams
CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio -- Mrs. Ruth M. Williams, 83, of Chagrin Falls, died Thursday at the Hamlet Manor Nursing Home. She was the widow of the Rev. Daniel Quinby Williams, former rector of Emmanuel Church, Newport, R.I., who died in 1985.
Mrs. Williams, a 1926 graduate of Western Reserve University (now Case Western Reserve) in Cleveland, taught high school mathmetics in Portsmouth, R.I. for many years. She had lived in Chagrin Falls for the past two years.
She leaves a son, Daniel Q. Williams Jr., of Silver Spring, Md., and a sister, Florence Munn of Tampa, Fla.
A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Trinity Church, Newport. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery, Portsmouth.
