Carol Stanley "Pete" Fowler, 78, husband of Frances Christine Parsons Fowler, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum.
Born February 21, 1944 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Roy A Fowler and Dorothy Millwood Burrell. He was retired as a Terminal Operator with B.P. Corporation and was a U.S. Army veteran. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior February 7, 1991 and was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his brothers, Jerry Burrell of Spartanburg and Larry Burrell of Pauline.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Graveside services with military honors will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Larry Holland, Rev. Andy Case and Rev. Kenneth Cash.
Family members are at their respective homes.
