Mrs. Earl C. Gosnell Sr., 57, Pulaski R.D. 1, the former Ruth Gillette, died suddenly of a heart attack Sunday at 4:30 p.m. while visiting in Cincinnati, O. for the holiday season. Born in Rose Point, Sept. 7, 1900, she was a daughter of William and Clara Wimer Gillette. She was married to Russell Garbett who died in 1938 and she re-married to Earl C. Gosnell Sr., who died June 4, 1957. Mrs. Gosnell was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, New Castle. Surviving are the children: Jack Garbett, Cincinnati, O.; Frederick Garbett, U.S. Air Force, Municipal Airport, Youngstown; Gloria Jean Gosnell, at home, step-children, Mrs. Charles (Bertha) Hood, Sharon; Mrs. Fred (Mildred) Newbury, Warren, O.; Mrs. Francis (Wilma) Smith, New Castle, Mrs. Edward (Louise) Pritchard, Sharon; Earl Gosnell, West Middlesex; Mrs. Thomas (Margeryetta) Ramsey, West Middlesex RD 2; William Gosnell, Greenville; Mrs. Glenn (Nancy) Ramsey, Pulaski RD 1; one brother, Norman Gillette, Warren, O; two grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren. The body has been removed to the late residence where friends may call any time until 10 a.m. Thursday. Mrs. Gosnell will be taken to the Cunningham Funeral Home, West Middlesex for services at 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Jesse Houk of the West Middlesex Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery, New Castle.
