Margaret "Peggy" Ann Considine was born in Chicago on June 27, 1934 to John P. Cawley and Katherine Cawley. Peggy loved her siblings, her sister Eileen and brothers Johnny and Marty. She passed away peacefully on June 15, 2022 at her home Clarendale of Algonquin. Peggy attended St. Genevieve Grammar School and Notre Dame High School for Girls in Chicago. She graduated from Quincy College in Quincy, IL and earned a Bachelors degree in Education.

Peggy married John "Jack" P. Considine, Jr. on August 17, 1957 at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Chicago. The young family moved to Niles, IL where Peggy joined the faculty at St. John Brebeuf School and taught there for four years until they moved to Palatine in 1969 to raise their three children. The family joined St. Theresa Parish. Peggy continued her teaching career at St. Theresa School retiring in 1999 thirty years later. Peggy loved teaching second grade because it was the year she prepared the children for the Sacrament of Holy Communion. She was a devoted teacher and gave her love to many young children and guidance to their parents.

In retirement Peggy continued to tutor individual students and substitute teach. She was never far from school books. She now had time to tend to gardening, baking, book clubs and volunteering. Peggy cherished her long-standing friendships; the Bridge Ladies from her Niles years, Ladies of the Roundtable in Palatine and many other dear friendships she always treasured. Jack and Peggy enjoyed spending winter months in Siesta Key with lifelong friends from the Midwest.

Peggy's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her extraordinary joy. Spending time with them on the phone or in person as she generously listened and unconditionally loved each of them. Peggy adored being an Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her Cawley and Muldoon cousins in Ireland were always very near to her heart.

Peggy will be remembered for her astounding generosity and capacity to spread Love.

Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband John P. "Jack". Loving mother of John (Catherine) Considine III, Patricia (Ambrose) Gillon III and the late Timothy (Janet) Considine. Adored grandma of Colleen (Eric) Hart, Elizabeth (Brian) Brustuen, Sean (Emily) Considine and Caragh Considine. Proud great-grandma of Madelyn, Amelia, Nolan, and a baby girl on the way. Dear sister of Marty (the late Janice) Cawley and the late Eileen (the late Ted) Collyer and Rev. John Cawley, C.M. Cherished sister-in-law of Helen (the late Bill) Scott, Marianne (the late Bill) Dahlborn, Kathy (Bill) Meyers and the late Jean (the late Harold) Johnson and Michael (the late Joan) Considine. Dear aunt, cousin and friend of many.
