Mary moved to Detroit at the age of 19. She had a successful career working for the State of Michigan, MESC office for 39 years. After her retirement she moved to Florida where she joined the Actors Guild and was featured in several motion pictures. Mary was also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Mary returned to Michigan in 2009, residing in Birmingham where she was an active member of the 50 Uppers Club and St. Alan's Church in Troy.
A devout Catholic, Mary was a role model for her entire family. She had a full and active social life and was an independent woman. Mary was well traveled with Ireland being her favorite destination. With a great sense of humor, she devoted her life to her family. She will be greatly missed, as she played a decisive role in the lives of many.
Mary is survived by her sister Dorothy Lafromboise of Saginaw, Michigan and a "clan" of many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and four brothers.
A Memorial Mass was held in Saginaw.
