JACKSONVILLE - Lorraine "Lonnie" Voss Kuzan, 83, of Jacksonville, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at Britthaven of Jacksonville nursing home.
A Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at the Infant of Prague Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Davis officiating. Graveside services will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Mrs. Kuzan was born in Lackawanna, N.Y., to the late Louis and Mary Dowd Voss. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Stephen Kuzan and a son, Joseph Louis Kuzan Sr.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Ann Elliott of Spartanburg, S.C., Lorraine Kuzan Puckett of Dumfries, Va., and Judith Marie Martin of Stafford, Va.; two sons, Michael John Kuzan of Jacksonville and Steven Robert "Buz" Kuzan of Wrightsville Beach; one sister, Lucy Pawela of Florida; eight grandchildren, Joseph Louis Kuzan Jr. of Apex, Robert Joseph Elliott, III of Seneca, S.C., Cynthia Marie Elliott of Spartanburg, S.C., Stephen Boggs Puckett of Vienna, Va., Megan Puckett Pomfret of Jacksonville, Lonnie David Martin Jr. of Stafford, Va., Timothy Ryan Martin of Beltsville, Md., and Kimberly Michelle Kuzan of Leland; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville. During the visitation there will be a Catholic prayer service and a LAFRA service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
