Among his peculiarities was that of opening the doors of the house with a leap on the handle and playing with the little mice ("topini" in Italian) made from crumpled pieces of yellow paper: he preferred them to scratching posts and other cat toys.
He used to be picked up by his young master and wrapped around his neck like a shawl, or mimed like a machine gun. He used to fight back by chasing him and biting his feet for fun.
Fiorellino was survived by his faithful masters. Interment took place on the evening of Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 9:30 p.m. in the garden of his home.
