Fred graduated from Eveleth High School, from there he went on to school at Votec while working at the Red Owl in Lakeside. After school he went on to work for the Telephone Company and Qwest before retiring in 2009.
Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was instrumental in bringing Ruby's Pantry to Superior. Fred also enjoyed taking pictures for his church; and working with the youth.
Fred was preceded in death by, his father, Fred Sr; first wife Irene, children, Tina and Raymond
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; daughter, Sarah (Michael) DeMeo; mother, Helen Guist; sister, Mary Guist; step-daughter, Kristyn (Walter) Zakrzewski; grandchildren, Analisa, Caleb, and Colten; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Service will be 11 AM Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Faith United Methodist Church, 1531 Hughitt Ave, Superior, WI 54880, with a visitation one hour prior.
