Jewish Austrian refugee who joined the famous British Jewish Commando unit - X-Troop during WWII. Goldschlager served with distinction and focus to end the scourge of Nazism.
He settled in the U.K. after the war but was murdered in a street crime in London, in 1977. He was not married and had no children. Goldschlager was finally given Jewish memory with a permanent stone in 2021.

Gravesite Details

Buried in the Roman Catholic section as a pauper, unmarked gravesite I-1563 under his pseudonym, Kenneth Edward Clarke. Christian, non-German names were required of all Jewish X-Troopers for security reasons.
