Mr. Gerald LeRoy "Jerry" Aldridge, Jr., age 42, passed away very unexpectedly in his sleep on Thursday, November 12, 2009. He was born August 17, 1967, in Anaheim, CA to Gerald L. and Patricia L. (Sullivan) Aldridge, Sr., and lived in the Muskegon area most of his life.


He worked as a manager for Pizza Hut Restaurant on Apple Ave., and most recently worked in private healthcare as a CNA and was also furthering his education at Baker College. He was an avid TV sports fan and followed the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed golfing in his spare time.


He is survived by his parents, Patricia and Ted Wierenga of North Muskegon; his girlfriend and the love of his life, Chris; 2 sisters, Leah Wierenga of Muskegon, and Heather (Guido) Venitucci of New York City, NY; his grandmother, Dorothy Wierenga; special aunt, Peggy Ruiter and special uncle, Dick Sullivan; and other aunts and uncles, Lyle and Bev, Jim and Ann, Marianne and Jim; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Jim and Myra Sullivan, Lonnie and LaVera Aldridge, and Hank Wierenga.
