The Ahpeatone Service Held
Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Ahpeatone, 81, of Mountain View were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Rainy Mountain church with Rev. Frank Venable officiating. Mrs. Ahpeatone died last Thursday in St. Anthony's Hospital at Oklahoma City.
Interment was in the Samone cemetery west of Carnegie.
Mrs. Ahpeatone was born in 1891 in Indian Territory, near Carnegie. Her husband preceded her in death in 1958.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lucy Two Hatchet of Mountain View, Mrs. Beatrice Smith, Brigham City, Utah, and Winona Ahpeatone, Midwest City; three sons, Fred and Elmer Ahpeatone of the home and Wilbur Ahpeatone of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Kaulaity and Mrs. Dorothy Kodaseet of Carnegie and a brother, Glenn White Fox of Anadarko.
