This is a small shaft marker made of soft gray marble and shallow carvings that have eroded or are eroding. The name of the deceased, and the parents' names are unreadable. The only word readable by the naked eye are the words "son of" on the top slant. "Beers" is readable on the plinth, when light is carefully placed. The base stone is dressed in cross cuts.
This stone was not recorded in the walking of the cemetery on July 4, 1979, by Paul and Barbara Midlam, leading this site member to think it was unreadable at that time, too.
