September 16th, 1945 - July 4th, 2022
Peacefully entered into rest surrounded by her family at the Brockville General Hospital, Monday July 4th, 2022. Wilhemina of Brockville died at the age of 76 after living many years with congestive heart failure. She was the beloved wife of 54 years to the late Earl Standen and she was the youngest child of 13 siblings to the late George & Almeida LaRose of Lansdowne.
She is predeceased by her sisters Doris, Ada, Elva, Phyllis, Rita, Yvonne, Audrey, Marie and brothers Percy & Joe. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
A special Thank You to the exceptional staff at BGH 3rd Floor Palliative Care Unit for their compassion, devotion, and exceptional care of our dear Willie.
In keeping with Wilhemina's wishes, there will be no visitation, cremation has taken place, and a graveside service will be held at the Olivet United Church Cemetery, Cty Rd 32, Seeley's Bay, Friday, July 8th at 1:30 PM, with a Celebration of Life to immediately follow at the Lyndhurst Legion, 306 Lyndhurst Rd, from 2-4PM. All are welcome.
If desired, donations to the Heart &Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
