Ruth (Ruthie) Emma Caldwell was born at Stratton, Neb., Dec 17, 1945, to Ezra and Loretta Zimmerman. She died Aug 31, at Kansas City. She was 53.
She was the youngest, preachers kid of the Zimmerman family.
After graduating from Burr Oak High School, she and Mike Caldwell were married Aug 29, 1964.
She enjoyed her career as a nurse. She held the position of Jewell County Health nurse until her death.
She is survived by her husband, Mike and two children, Marc, Superior and Matt, Deshler; four grandchildren; one brother, Gail Zimmerman, Casper, Wyo., two sisters, Glenda Mosiman, Benton, Kan., and Karlene Donze, Anaheim, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra and Loretta Zimmerman.
Services were held Saturday at the Friends Church in North Branch. The Rev Joe Vance officiated. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
Williams Funeral Home, Superior, was in charge of arrangements.
