Funeral services for Archie W. Porter, 67, who died Wednesday at a Chicago hospital after suffering a heart attack while visiting in Chicago, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the W. Harry Christy funeral home in Moringside. Rev. John Hantla of Wall Street mission will offriciate. Burial will be in Memorial park cemetery.

Mr. Porter was born October 26, 1884, at Sibley, Ia., he lived there until he was 16 when he moved to Bronson. He farmed there until retiring in 1940 and moving to Sioux City. He married Myrtle Rose Beachem November 10, 1910, at Onawa.

Mr. Porter was a member of Rustin Avenue Methodist church.

Survivors besides the widow include four sons, Charles of Chiago, Clifford of Lusk, Wyo., William of Onawa and Robert of Glenwood, Ia.; two daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Harshfield and Mrs. Jane Tweet, both of Sioux City; three brothers, Amos and Ray of Sioux City and Wesley of Bronson; three sistrs, Mrs. Alex Sturgeon, Mrs. Lillian Miller and Mrs. Alice Amick, all of Sioux City, and 19 grandchildren.
