McCONNELSVILLE - Marcella "Celery" Boston Davis, 74, of 270 E. Main St. died at 6 p.m. Sunday (May 16, 1999) at Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville.
She was born Jan. 5, 1925, in Sunbury to Arther and Nellie Rosacrane Boston. She retired as a postal clerk from the United States Post Office. She was a member of the American Legion Post 24 and the Wednesday Night Card Club and was a life member of Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by one son, Steve Davis of Heath; one daughter, Janice Starr Dille of Pennsville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant brother; and one sister, Ludy Hedden.
There are no services. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Matheney Funeral home in McConnelsville.
