Martin Douglas "Doug" Saylor, 63, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 at Norton Audubon Hospital.


He was a proud Army veteran who served his country honorably for over 16 years. He was a retired member of the Kentucky National Guard. Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.


Doug is preceded in death by his parents Homer and Elizabeth Saylor; siblings Jimmy Saylor, Rick Saylor, and Virginia Adams.


Doug is survived by his wife of 26 years, Linda Clark Saylor; children, Misty Meador (Todd), Jimmy Allgeier (Crissie), Michelle Harmon (Dave), Melanie Allgeier, Tiffany Allgeier, and Stephanie Mobley (John); 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings Homer Saylor, Jackie Saylor (Sharon), Jerry Saylor (Theresa), Mike Saylor, and David Saylor (Tina); and many nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00pm Tuesday. A service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00am with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
