Services are Monday at 1 pm in Baxter Brothers Funeral Home.
Burial is in Rosemount Cemetery.
The body will lie in state Sunday evening.
Survivors include daughter Sallie Jones Compton of California; sisters Amanda Abernathy of Columbia, Bertha Green of Chicago,IL, and Gladys Benderman of Louisville, KY; two grandsons, and two great-grandchildren.
