He faithfully served his country and retired from the United States Marine Corps after twenty two years of active duty. He had a second career with the Dougherty County Sheriff's Department and retired from there after twenty five years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Eadie Ray Stewart; children, Linda McIntosh, Barry Stewart and Debbie Dormany; step-children, Kenna Anderson, Memorie Christenson, Frances Brown and Christina Miller; grandchildren, Erin Crain, Heather Hunter, Jennifer Cruz, Clifton McPherson, Vincent Britt, Avery Crain, Hallie Crain, Ashley Husky and Jason Renew; sister, Frances Wood; numerous great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Restlawn Memory Gardens with Military Honors. Family and friends will assemble at the graveside.
