Johnson, 75, of La Porte, Texas, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 1995, in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II and a former Louisiana state trooper. He was owner of Johnson Paving and Construction Co., Alexandria, and a member of the First Apostolic Church of Highlands, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Audry M. Johnson of La Porte, Texas; four sons, Edward Earl Johnson of Florida, Paul E. Johnson and John Paul Johnson, both of Alexandria, and Ricky Neal Dupuy of La Porte, Texas; two daughters, Stella Hargus of Dallas, Texas and Priscilla Lea Johnson of La Porte, Texas; two sisters, Estelle Agard of Custard, Wash., and Lena Mae Hebert of Seattle, Wash.; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services today in the church.
