Bonnie Mae Gant, age 68, of Richwood, WV went home to Jesus on Saturday, September 15, 2018, in Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley.
She was born March 28, 1950, in Sutton, WV the daughter of the late Gaylord and Lennia Leora Cornwell Smallwood.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Gant; loving son Kevin Smallwood and three brothers Ronnie, Gail, and Gene.
Bonnie was employed by the Fairfax VA. Public School Systems as a bus driver. She was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church of Richwood.
She is survived by her sons, Kelsey Abbott (Elizabeth), William Thomas Abbott and Richard Eugene Abbott, Jr.; her daughter, Lennia Paige Gant Sparks (Josh); daughter-in-law, Tasha Smallwood; her surviving brother, Roger Smallwood and 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services honoring Bonnie Gant will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton with Rev. Linn Schiefer officiating. Friends may call after 12 Noon Thursday. Burial will follow at Smallwood-King Cemetery, Bays, WV.
