She was born in Nokomis, Ill., May 20, 1885, and married Dr. Hubbard in St. Louis, Mo., soon after his graduation from medical school. He practiced in Ill., before coming to Manson in 1928. Mrs. Hubbard assisted her husband for many years before his death in 1959. She was active in community affairs and a member of the Manson Community Church.
Surviving are her son, Elbert Hubbard, a foster son, Oscar Thunhurst, and daughter-in-law, Lucile Vercoe Hubbard - all of Manson; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Her son, George Wesley Hubbard, passed away in 1957. Jones & Jones is in charge.
