Last rites for G. W. (Wesley) Hubbard were conducted in the Manson Community Church at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The Rev. Fred Hunt, former Manson pastor, officiated. Burial was in Riverview cemetery.

G. W. Hubbard, 48, died suddenly at his home Saturday.

Born in Ohlman, Illnois, September 23, 1908. Mr. Hubbard spent his early life and attended schools in that area. He attended college at Warrenton, Missouri, prior to coming to Manson in 1928, and later attended Washington Sate College. On July 23, 1939, he was married to Lucile Vercoe at Manson. Mr. Hubbard operated his own orchard from 1933 to 1943 and in recent years has been engaged as a cabinetmaker and painter. Mr. Hubbard was a member of the Methodist Church and was active in Boy Scout work.

Surviving are; his wife, Mrs. Lucile Hubbard; one son, George Harold Hubbard; one daughter, Miss Charlotte Hubbard; his parents, Dr. and Mrs. I. G. Hubbard; and one brother, Elbert A. Hubbard, all of Manson.
