GENEALOGY:
Janet was an avid genealogist. In fact I met her while we were both researching our common ancestor Virgil Sherman, and his wife Betsey Hall Dickinson. Her ancestor Henry Martin Sherman, and my ancestor Samuel Carvosa Sherman were brothers. Janet published her genealogy "Twigs from the King Family Tree," in 2001, and I was pleased when she included some of my Sherman research, photos, and documents in her book. She will be greatly missed by her many cousins and friends in the genealogy community.
NOTE: The photos used in this memorial were taken from my copy of Janet's book "Twigs from the King Family Tree." (2001) The surnames traced in her book are KING, GORDON, MARTIN, MCCRAW, SHERMAN, DICKINSON, FLESHER & LEMON.
