She was born January 10, 1923 in Comber, Northern Ireland.
After arriving from Ireland she worked for the phone company in New York State and Alabama before moving to Florida in 1964.
She retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company/AT&T in Melbourne, FL as Traffic Manager with 38 years of service. She was very active in Telephone Pioneers of America and Pilot Club International, putting in thousands of hours of community service. She loved raising orchids and making ceramic dolls.
She is survived by her husband, Elzie C. Roberts of Casselberry, FL; brother, Noel Cochrane of Vero Beach, FL; children, Galen Kennah of Gadsden, AL, Aprille Miller of Altamonte Springs, FL, Kevin Kennah of Apopka, FL, Joyce Bennett of Casselberry, FL, Janice Smith of Casselberry, FL, 10 grandchildren, three great- grandchildren and three nieces.
