In Loving Memory of Mr. Fernand Paul Joseph Massicotte
June 28, 1933 – July 8, 2022

It is with great sorrow the family announces his passing at the Anson General Hospital on Friday July 8th, 2022 at the age of 89.

He was the son of the late Nicéphore Massicotte and the late Florette Massicotte (nee Lefebvre). He was predeceased by his beloved wife Cécile Massicotte (née Moncion-Barrette) on August 3rd 2021. He will be sadly missed by his daughters Linne (Claude) Perreault, Suzanne (Randy) Knox and Paule Massicotte-Meaney (Sean Meaney), his grandchildren Megan Knox, Amy Knox and Nathaniel Perreault. He was the brother of late Jean-Marc (feu Julienne) Massicotte, late Sr. Blandine Massicotte-(Ursuline), Juliette Massicotte, late Renald (Ruth) Massicotte, Gemma (Richard) Cousineau, Denise (Roger) Lagacé, Monique (Léo) Pépin and late Gaétan (late Karen) Massicotte. He was the brother-in-law of late Fernand (Annabel) Moncion, late Jeanne (late Disley) Vincent, late Annette (late Angus) Sangster, late Simone (late Elmo) Lefebvre, late Pauline (late Gaston) Paradis, late Andrée (late Yvon) Lepage, Noëlla (late Melvin) Mousseau and Denis (Pauline) Barrette. He leaves also behind many nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday July 20th, 2022 at 11 am at the Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens Church. Father Léo Rancourt officiating, and interment will follow at the Abitibi Cemetery in Iroquois Falls. This event will also be live streaming.

If desired, In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Sts-Martyrs-Canadian Church or Access Transit and would be greatly appreciated.
