Vickie Jean Brown Randall, age 72 of Cherryville, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Peak Resources, Cherryville. She was born September 5, 1949 in Spartanburg County, SC to the late Garland Odell and Desmer Wright Brown. Vickie was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was a 1968 graduate of Cherryville High School where she enjoyed softball and won Homecoming Queen. She opened "Vickie's Grill" in 1981 where she loved to serve the community through great food and friendship.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ted Brown.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Jennifer Randall; grandchildren, Lance and Amber Donaldson and Justin Humphries; former husband, Roger Derrill Randall; siblings, Mary Sue Schultz, Charles Brown, Lucy Hartman (Steve), Rita Wilson (Ken), twin brother Mickey Brown (Linda), and Randy Brown (Vickie); sister-in-law, Dottie Brown; brother-in-law, Charles Schultz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 15, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Huss and Rev. Wayne Key officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
