MEETS ACCIDENTAL DEATH
SIAS, Wva., Feb 6- On January 20, death came unexpectedly to visit Mr. Gilbert Adkins, of Palermo, while returning home from the Big Laurel Creek with an empty wagon, which turned over causing his instant death.
Funeral Services were conducted at the home of the decased by Rev. E. L. Adkins,, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Golsberry cemetery at Sias.
Mr Adkins was 47 years old. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Hannan Tabor of Palermo, and Mrs Everett Adkins, of Lundale, Wva, one adopted son, Sesco, his mother, Cylender Adkins of Palermo, two brothers, Mitchel and Freeman Adkins, of Palermo; four sisters, Mrs Green Richmond, Mrs Homer Cummings, of Palermo; Mrs Don Adkins, of Lundale, and Charlie Provence of Dawes, and five grandchildren, Jewell, Junior and Lorence Tabor, of Palermo and Lueeai and Cecil Adkins, of Lundale.
