Died Monday, Nov. 6, 1989, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 31, a native and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a hairstylist.

Visiting at Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, Miss., after 9 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. James Dawson. Burial in Roseland Cemetery.

Survived by mother, Addie Kirkland, Gloster; a sister, Wanda Brister, Liberty, Miss.; two nephews, Byron Brister and Alex Kirkland; and two nieces, Kelli Kirkland and Stephanie Biggs.

Preceded in death by father, Hewitt Kirkland; and a brother, Wayne Kirkland.

He was a member of New Day Christian Fellowship Church.
