Catherine M. Mondy, 88, of Streator passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator.
A memorial Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 at St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church. Fr. Jacob Rose will officiate and conduct graveside services at St. Stephen's Cemetery.
There will be no visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Elias Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
She was born June 15, 1925 in Streator, a daughter of George and Catherine (Tkach) Bradach. She married Albert Mondy on May 30, 1951 in Streator.
She is survived by a daughter: Mary Jane (William) Hansen of Lodi, Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Albert who passed away January 23, 1984; sisters: Mary Hjerpe and Helen Zolper; and brothers: George, John, Edward, Matthew, Michael and Daniel Bradach.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Streator.
