Charles had a stroke and was in a coma at home for several days. The family was gathered around his bed when he suddenly sat up saying "Carlton, how good to see you!" He then fell back dead. The next day the family received a telegram from his brother Carlton's family, saying Carlton had died about two hours before Charles!
