John was born in Newport News, VA, on June 20, 1968 the son of Edward E. and Dianne L. (Morton) Kexel, Sr. of Gloversville, New York.
He was a proud member of the Marines, having served in both Desert Storm and Desert Shield.
John had worked for the Columbia Air Services in Groton for many years, first as a plane re-fueler and working his way up to the position of General Manager.
He was an avid car enthusiast, especially of Corvette's, and anything to do with the Marine Corps.
Besides his parents, his survivors include his sister Tina M. (Kexel) Bright of Tyler, TX, his two brothers Edward E. Kexel, Jr. of Washington State, Robert J. Kexel of New London, Ct and his companion Jeanneace Adanti of Temple, Tx.
John had also been predeceased by his wife Melanie Parker.
