Ison, Ruth Ann. Beloved wife of the late Robert "Skip" Ison. Loving mother of Betsey Lindle and David (Edith) Ison. Devoted grandmother of Mari (Ky) Nichols, Carrie Morville, William "Rob" (Allison) Costello, Rebecca "Becky" (Greg) Velliky. and Dakota "Cody" (Sabrina Busic) Ison. Dear great-grandmother of Tori, Trey, Mara, Mariah and Savannah. Cherished sister of Virginia Richards. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 15, 2022, at the age of 94.
Ruth spent a lot of her life volunteering. She was a Sunday school teacher, both a Deacon and Elder as well as she and her husband Skip were youth group advisors at Knox Presbyterian Church. She also was a Volunteer at Sharon Woods Village and while living at Deupree House, she was on the resident committee, volunteered at Kilgour Grade School as a Tudor up until Covid started. She was the rock of her family, putting everyone else's concerns before her own. She was so loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service 11:00 a.m. at the Knox Presbyterian Church, 3400 Michigan Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45208. Burial to follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Knox Presbyterian Church. www.springgrove.org
